We Get These Questions a Lot.
Why Does My Business Have to Make at Least $250K/year to Work With Clarify?
Marketing a startup is different from marketing a business that’s pulling in revenue. We work by our 12% rule, which means we won’t work with a company if their marketing is 12% or more of their total annual recurring revenue.
Do You Offer Discounts or Special Promotions to Small Businesses?
We don’t offer discounts for any reason. This is what it costs to work with us.
I Saw Another Agency with lower prices. Why shouldn’t I just go with them?
You should go with them. We’re not for everybody—and that’s okay.
How Long Should I wait before I expect results?
Marketing isn’t a spigot—you don’t just “turn it on” and expect results (that’s what we have advertising for). It takes time to build on SEO, social media, and so on. Businesses we work with understand that it’s a process. We’ll drop steamy weekly reports into your inbox so you can track growth.
I’ve worked with digital marketers in the past and they’ve burned me, how can I know Clarify won’t do the same?
We’d rather go bankrupt than fudge results, tell you “it’s working” when it’s not, or mislead you in any way. We’re honest to a fault, so even in the midst of a great campaign, you might get a report that says “This campaign didn’t work the way our data showed it would,” or “We made a mistake,” because that happens. We’re not perfect, and we own it.
Wait, you fire Marketing partners/clients? How do I avoid getting fired?
Even though you’re paying for a service, your money’s not worth our sanity. We value our peace, and peace brings the highest chance of excellent results.
We’ve fired Marketing Partners (clients) for a few reasons, including: verbal abuse in email, text, and audio, large gaps in communication (we can’t do our job if you’re ghosting us), and repeated late payments.
We’re here to work. We’re here to make you money. We expect mutual respect in that matter.
Do you offer a guarantee?
A guarantee of results? No. A guarantee that we’ll use our experience, track record (which is pretty epic), and our maximum effort? Absolutely.
Marketing isn’t a linear game, and many variables are outside of our control. We work with them, but the rules of the game change. You work with us because we keep a pulse on those shifting rules, and pivot to keep your business on top despite the changes, despite the market conditions.
Can I just hire you for one service, like SEO or email marketing?
No. We provide comprehensive packages, meaning every one of our services packaged as one. Why do we do this?
When the work’s split, our comprehensive strategy is fractioned, so we can’t provide adequate service because other marketing channels are out of our control.
If it’s split because you’re working with an agency for some of your services, and you want us for the other half of your marketing, alignment becomes hell. At Clarify, we left the corporate world to avoid red tape, not run into it.
You wouldn’t take a four-legged table, cut three legs off, and then expect it to stand on its own, would you?
